Reminder to tune into the virtual town hall tomorrow night

Tune into the first ever District of Lake Country virtual town hall on Tuesday night – from the comfort of home and the safety of your own device and internet connection. This is an opportunity to learn more about the 2021 budget, ask Council and staff questions and provide your perspective on community priorities.

Don't have a Facebook account - no problem.

The town hall will begin at 7:00 pm sharp via Facebook LIVE. If you have a Facbeook account simply go the District of Lake Country page and you can watch the meeting from the page. If you don't have an account - click here and you will be able to view the meeting live.

Find out more about the 2021 budget and pose your question through the Let's Talk - Lake Country public engagement webpage so we can get you an answer even if you aren't available to watch LIVE while the virtual town hall is being broadcast.

Often the best part of a town hall meeting is being able to visit and get to know others in our community — usually over a coffee and treats. Life is different this year and we can’t all be together in person, but we still want you to connect with us and enjoy coffee and cookies as you watch the town hall. Two new businesses in town—Lifestyles Coffee and Beat.Patisserie will be providing coffee and cookies for you to enjoy during the town hall.
