General Water information

• Your property is greater than or equal to 1 acre and less than 2 acres.
• Your property is located within the Agricultural Land Reserve (ALR) and/or zoned A1.
• You can provide a completed CRA Form T2042, Statement of Farming Activities, as evidence of farming activity.

• A completed Small-Scale Farm Water Rate Application.   
• A completed CRA Form T2042, Statement of Farming Activities.
• Applications must be submitted once every three years to remain eligible under the policy. 

District staff will review your application to confirm it meets the policy requirements. Site inspections may be completed at the District’s discretion. Once the review is complete, you will be notified whether your application has been approved or denied.

If approved, Agricultural Irrigation Rates will apply starting January 1 of the calendar year in which the application is approved. Approved properties must also meet any infrastructure requirements identified by the District, including having a separate irrigation service connection, allotment, and meter installed at the property owner’s expense as per the Water Regulation and Rates Bylaw, 984.
