Oyama Isthmus Washroom Project: a lasting community investment that enhances one of Lake Country's most treasured waterfront and recreation destinations. Located along the popular Okanagan Rail Trail and Wood Lake Loop, the washroom facility supports thousands of residents and visitors who enjoy the beaches, trails, and public spaces at Oyama Isthmus Park each year.
Lake Country Fire Department (LCFD) Legacy Leadership Fund
Honouring a legacy. Investing in future leaders.
The LCFD Legacy Leadership Fund is an endowment that supports leadership training, education, and scholarships for Lake Country firefighters. Managed through the Central Okanagan Foundation, the fund helps develop future fire service leaders through programs such as Fire Officer certification, emergency management education, and professional development opportunities.
Created to honour the vision and service of past LCFD leaders, including Gerry Inglis, donations provide lasting support for the next generation of firefighters serving and protecting Lake Country.
Okanagan Rail Trail Development Fund

The Okanagan Rail Trail is a premier multi-use corridor connecting communities from Coldstream to Kelowna. Donations support ongoing improvements such as trail amenities, wayfinding, interpretive features, seating areas, and educational displays that enhance accessibility, safety, and visitor experience. Together with community partners, these contributions help preserve and strengthen this valued regional asset for generations to come.
Partners in Parks Program

The District of Lake Country’s Partners in Parks Program provides a meaningful way to honour a loved one, recognize a special individual or group, or celebrate a connection to the community through a lasting park donation. Contributions support amenities such as benches, picnic tables, and other park features that enhance public spaces and create a lasting legacy. Tax receipts are available for eligible donations.
