Residents are advised of upcoming traffic impacts related to utility upgrades being completed in preparation for paving work scheduled for late September. Glenmore Road overnight closure will occur between Shanks Road and Chase Road. Access to Okanagan Centre Road W. will be maintained.
Traffic impacts:
- Sunday, August 30: Glenmore Road closure beginning at 7:00 p.m.
- Monday, August 31: Road open to single-lane, alternating traffic during day; road closure beginning at 7:00 p.m.
- Tuesday, Sept 1: Road expected to reopen to normal traffic at 7:00 a.m.
The utility upgrades are necessary to prepare the roadway for paving planned later this fall. Motorists are asked to use caution in the work zone, follow all signage, and allow extra travel time.
