Automatic and manual irrigation of lawns, ornamental plants, flowers, and shrubs is limited to two days per week based on your address. These measures apply to all properties connected to the District of Lake Country water system, regardless of municipal boundaries.
Works on approximately 800 metres of Commonage Road, from the southern Carr’s Landing Road intersection to the O’Rourke Family Vineyard access (Phase 1) have now been completed, paved and painted. Final clean up and shouldering is underway.

During construction Commonage Road will undergo a full closure (starting March 27), from the intersection at Carr's Landing, north east for approximately one kilometer. Driveway access will be accommodated for impacted residents. A full closure of the road will expedite the construction activity for the improvements and ensure site safety. The road is anticipated to re-open June 12.

Note: The mailbox site will be relocated to the opposite side of Commonage Road as part of this project. A paved pull out will be provided.
During the first phase of construction Carr's Landing Road will not be impacted. Advance notice of any closures will be updated on the District social media channels. Phase 2 schedule is to be determined.

Key upgrades achieved in this project include improved sightlines at the Carr’s Landing/Commonage intersection, smoother grades and road alignment, drainage enhancements, and utility relocations required for road widening. The existing gravel surface will be paved to a collector‑standard roadway and will include a paved shoulder to support safer walking and cycling.
