Come laugh and be wowed by three of Canada’s best magicians!
East Van legend Travis Bernhardt, who comedian Dino Archie called, “the hardest guy to follow in Vancouver,” has toured his award-winning magic shows and improv comedy shows across Canada since 2008. He also consults for film and TV, most recently Disney’s Descendants: Wicked Wonderland.
Rob Teszka is an eccentric, charming, and funny magician who produces and hosts The Parlour Magic Show in Vancouver and tours his shows Magic Dropout and I Hate Magic to theatres and festivals. Rob studied in England for a decade, where he developed his taste for tweed and bow ties and earned an Associate Membership in the prestigious Inner Magic Circle.
Nayana Fielkov is a critically acclaimed, genre-bending performing artist and magician. She is the co-creator of multi-award winning RAGMOP Theatre, Habitats, Underbelly and the Myrtle Sisters, bringing together the mediums of clown, dance, mask, physical comedy, and magic.
"I was taken with how well these three kept their age-diverse audience engaged. All too often, the descriptor ‘family’ means one age group is going to suffer at the expense of the other, but not with these three. They were masterful in bringing younger audience members on stage... It combined well with the banter of the performance, which was adult-orientated humor that could go towards, but not over, the edge. ... So yes, what looked like effortless performance and entertainment that was inclusive without being obvious, was in fact a demonstration of craft gained over decades of experience. But that is all under the hood stuff and what everyone got to see and enjoy was three finely tuned entertainment engines that delivered, if you’ll pardon the pun, a magical show." —Bill McQuarrie, North Island Gazette
