Council approved a development permit for 18091 Crystal Waters Road, allowing a new two-storey garage with upper-level amenity space to be built closer to the front and side property lines than normally permitted.
Bylaws for Adoption and Readings Following a Public Hearing:
Zoning Amendment 1331| Z0000354 | DLC Business Park - 3rd Reading Consideration
The proposed zoning bylaw would put in place the land-use plan for the future Lake Country Business Park by creating five new zoning categories and rezoning about 81 hectares of land. Before giving the bylaw third reading, Council made some minor updates, including removing data centres as a permitted use and adding “concrete” to the list of allowed industrial materials.
Official Community Plan | OCP00064
The proposed Official Community Plan (OCP) sets Lake Country’s vision for growth and development through 2046, covering housing, transportation, infrastructure, the environment, agriculture, economic development, and community well-being. After public engagement and Council review, several minor updates were made to improve clarity, strengthen agricultural and environmental policies, and address administrative issues. Council approved the amended OCP for third reading and will then adopt at a future meeting.
