Lake Country, B.C. – Live! in Lake Country, presented by TD, returns to Swalwell Park this Friday, July 3, kicking off another summer of free outdoor concerts.

The seven-week series will bring a mix of local talent, tribute acts and nationally recognized performers to the park every Friday evening throughout July and August.

“This year's lineup offers something for everyone,” said Ryan Donn, Cultural Development Coordinator for the District of Lake Country. “From local favourites to JUNO Award-winning artists, we're excited to welcome the community back to Swalwell Park for another summer of free live music.”

The series kicks off on July 3 with T>G & J Byrd at 7pm, followed by a Taylor Swift tribute performance by Seraphina at 8pm. Other highlights include JUNO Award-winning artist Aysanabee on July 24 and Canadian pop artist Virginia to Vegas on August 8

Concerts run from 7:00 to 9:00 p.m. each Friday, with the exception of July 24, which begins at 6:30 p.m. Families can also enjoy the park's recently upgraded playground and splash pad, while the Lake Country Farmers' and Crafters' Market will once again extend its Friday hours until 8:00 p.m. during concert nights. Attendees are encouraged to bring lawn chairs or blankets for seating.

Visitors are encouraged to walk, cycle or carpool to the concerts where possible, as onsite parking at Swalwell Park is limited. The Swalwell Park parking lot will be reserved for passenger drop-off and vehicles displaying accessible parking permits only. Additional parking is available nearby at George Elliot Secondary School/Creekside Theatre, Lake Country Municipal Hall, Winfield Memorial Hall, Winfield Arena and H.S. Grenda Middle School.

If a concert needs to be postponed due to extreme weather or an emergency, updates will be shared by 6:30 p.m. on the District's official social media channels.

The District also acknowledges the ongoing support of title sponsor TD, along with Christi Dalkeith from the Stone Sisters, Kiwanis, the Lake Country Chamber of Commerce, and Stutters Restorations, whose contributions help make this free concert series possible.
