Notice is given pursuant to the Local Government Act (LGA) that a Public Hearing will not be held for the proposed Zoning Amendment Bylaw 1329, 2026.

Any correspondence received in response to this Notice will be distributed to Council and may be included in the Council Agenda package and published on the District of Lake Country website. 

PURPOSE
The purpose of this proposed bylaw amendment is to rezone the property located at 15515 Barkley Road from:
RR1 – Rural Residential 1
to 
RR2 – Rural Residential 2

WHY: To support a proposed future 4-Lot subdivision.

Council is scheduled to consider the first, second, and third reading of the Zoning Amendment Bylaw 1329, 2026 at the June 16, 2026, Regular Council Meeting which will be held at Municipal Hall, 10150 Bottom Wood Lake Road at 7:00 pm.
