Notice is given pursuant to the Local Government Act (LGA) that a Public Hearing will not be held for the proposed Zoning Amendment Bylaw 1333, 2026.
Where a Public Hearing will not be held, Council is prohibited from receiving any oral or written submissions from the date of notice until the adoption of the bylaw or conclusion of the application.
PURPOSE
The purpose of this proposed bylaw is to amend CD-16 Comprehensive Development (Copper Hill 2) Zone by:
- Adding small-scale multiple housing in ‘Area A’ as a permitted principal use, to meet Provincial regulations; and
- Adding development regulations for small-scale multiple housing regarding: density, maximum site coverage, and minimum side and rear setbacks
Council is scheduled to consider the first, second, and third reading of Bylaw 1333, 2026 at the June 16, 2026, Regular Council Meeting which will be held at Municipal Hall, 10150 Bottom Wood Lake Road at 7:00 pm.
