Notice is given pursuant to the Local Government Act (LGA) that Council will consider a Temporary Use Permit. Any correspondence received in response to this Notice will be distributed to Council.
The purpose of this proposed Temporary Use Permit is to allow the property located at 15720 Oyama Rd to be used for the following purposes:
What: Council has been requested to consider a Temporary Use Permit to allow a café on a P2 zoned property as a principal use.
Why: To allow a permitted secondary use (Primary Food Establishment) to be allowed to operate as a primary use on a property located in the P2 – Administration, Public Service and Assembly zone.
A Temporary Use Permit may be used for a maximum period of three years and may be renewed once. After that time, the applicant may reapply for a new Temporary Permit. Council may specify conditions under which the Permit may be carried on.
Council is scheduled to consider TUP00120 at the June 16, 2026, Regular Council Meeting which will be held at Municipal Hall, 10150 Bottom Wood Lake Road at 7 pm.
