Notice is given pursuant to the Local Government Act (LGA).
WHAT: Council has been requested to consider a Temporary Use Permit to allow home-based business on a residential property, 9526 Bottom Wood Lake Rd.
WHY: To allow a non-permitted home-based business (Personal Service Establishment) within a residential property located in the C10-Service Commercial Zone.
A Temporary Use Permit may be issued for a maximum period of three years and may be renewed once. After that time, the applicant may reapply for a new Temporary Permit. Council may specify conditions under which the Permit may be carried on.
WHEN: Council is scheduled to consider issuance of TUP00118 for a period of 3 years at the May 19, 2026, Regular Council Meeting which will be held at Municipal Hall, 10150 Bottom Wood Lake Road at 7:00 pm.
