Fees Bylaw Amendment | Schedule 12 Community Complex
Council gave three readings to Fees Amendment Bylaw 1314, 2026. This bylaw updates rental and service fees for the Community Complex and Creekside Theatre for the first time since 2016. The changes help cover rising costs, include front-of-house staffing, and set rates for the next five years to maintain service quality and support future improvements.
POL2018-164 and POL2025-224 Council Remuneration and Expense and Use of Technology Policy
Council adopted updates to the Council Remuneration and Expense Policy recommended by the Council Remuneration and Task Force Policy and previously approved by Council. Several outdated technology and travel policies were also consolidated into new policies to streamline processes and ensure clarity.

Council adopted Zoning Amendment Bylaw 1254, 2024 to rezone a property on Robinson Road from RU1 (Small-Scale Multiple Housing) to RM2 (Low Density Row Housing). The applicant met all conditions, including registering a rental housing covenant and completing road dedications.
Revenue Anticipation Borrowing Bylaw 1303, 2026
Council adopted the Revenue Anticipation Borrowing Bylaw 1303, 2026. This bylaw authorizes the District to borrow up to $10 million in 2026 to cover operating expenses until property taxes are collected. The borrowed funds will be repaid with interest once tax revenues are received.
