The property has unusual elevation challenges caused by the natural slope and neighboring homes, making it difficult to meet standard regulations while maintaining a functional backyard and pool area. Council referred the application back to staff for additional information.
Agricultural Land Reserve| ALR00202 | 10280 Seaton Rd
Council supported an application to replace a modular home on a farm at 10280 Seaton Road with a larger 165 m² modular home for the owner's son, who helps run the family farm. As the property already has a main house and the new home would be larger than normally allowed in the Agricultural Land Reserve, approval from the Agricultural Land Commission is required.
Temporary Use Permit | TUP00119| 11414 Lakewood Rd.
Council approved a three-year permit allowing Willow and Pine Childcare to continue operating from a house at 11414 Lakewood Road and to care for up to 10 children at one time. The change aligns the District's approval with Interior Health's licensing rules for the after-school program and does not expand the building, hours, or footprint of the daycare.
