Project description

The Glenmore PRV & Improvements project will install a section of watermain from the Glenmore Booster Station to Seaton Road, and remove two aging pressure reducing valve (PRV) stations.

The water system works are required in accordance with life cycle asset management. While essential water infrastructure work is underway in the area, there is opportunity to restore pavement from Hwy 97 to Dick Rd. The existing pavement surface is deteriorating and requires resurfacing.  Combining water and road works achieves efficiencies for the District's capital project funding and minimizes any duplication in disruptions.  Improving safety and reducing ongoing operational costs are outcomes of the project.
