About Live! In Lake Country

The Live! in Lake Country FREE open air summer concert season kicks off each year with LIVE Music during the evening on July 1st Canada Day, followed by weekly Saturday evening events in the parks around Lake Country during July and August. NO CONCERTS will be held in the parks during 2020 due to the importance of physical distancing and the impacts of the Covid-19 pandemic.

Performer Application

PARKING is limited in the parks, so attendees are encouraged to please carpool, walk or cycle. Do not park in areas of the roadway designated as NO Parking.  Additional special event parking will be clearly marked to account for larger audiences.

In 2007, the Lake Country Open Air Performance Society was founded as a non-profit, volunteer-run initiative. Their purpose and mandate was to organize LIVE, all ages concerts hosted in the surrounding parks throughout Lake Country, featuring a wide variety of local performers across all genres.

In 2015 the torch was passed from the Open Air Society to the new Cultural Development Coordinator and the program was rebranded: Live! In Lake Country.

The founders and board of Lake Country Open Air Performance Society are grateful for the support of sponsors, donors and the District of Lake Country that fund and allow for the free entertainment events to be offered to the Lake Country community.
