How to Update your Mailing Address:
The District of Lake Country is unable to accept direct requests for mailing address changes.
To change the mailing address for your Property Tax and Utility accounts, you must issue the request with BC Assessment and/or the Land Titles Office . There are a number of notices and documents which property owners may receive, such as the annual property assessment, property tax, and speculation tax notices which may be delayed if the mailing address is not current.
BC Assessment will update your address and then forward the address change to the District. Note, when filling out their change of address form , Lake Country's Area is 19 and the Jurisdiction is 331.
Land Titles Office will also update your address and then forward the address change to BC Assessment and the District. Any ownership changes, such as transferring title or changing your name, must be done through their office.
The District of Lake Country receives regular updates from both BC Assessment and the Land Titles Office to ensure records are consistent across organizations. Please avoid the use of your ward (Oyama, Carrs Landing, Okanagan Centre, or Winfield) when entering your mailing address, instead simply use "Lake Country".
Utility Billing
The District of Lake Country mails property tax notices and utility bills to the registered owner(s) on file, the District does not mail notices to tenants. Both the tax notice and the utility bill are mailed to the same name and address and are unable to be directed to different addresses.
For most strata properties, a utility bill for water is mailed to the strata or property management company, individual owners of strata property do not typically receive water on their utility bill.

You can make ownership changes to your manufactured home by contacting the Manufactured Home Registry .
