Utility bills now due at month-end—Sign up for eBilling to avoid Canada Post delays

District news and public notices

With Council’s recent approval, quarterly utility bills are now due at the end of the month, giving residents and businesses more time to plan and pay. However, with Canada Post workers engaging in rotating strike action, mail delivery may be delayed—potentially affecting the arrival of utility bills and other important notices.

To avoid late payments and take advantage of the new due date, the District encourages customers to use its secure online platform, MyLakeCountry.ca. This free service allows users to:

  • Access and manage accounts for utilities, business licences, building permits, and property taxes
  • Pay utility invoices, bylaw tickets, business licence fees, and Community Development fees
  • Opt into eBilling for faster, paperless statements

Signing up at MyLakeCountry.ca ensures you stay informed and on time—especially during postal disruptions. If you're already registered but still receiving paper bills, you can switch to eBilling today.
