Easter Egg Hunt
We know you are as disappointed as we are that we can't get together as a whole community at Jack Seaton Park for the annual Easter Egg Hunt. But the Lake Country Recreation Coordinator couldn't let the occasion pass without organizing some Easter-themed family fun with some great prizes.
The Easter Egg Hunt challenge instructions are available online from Friday, April 2 to Monday, April 5, 2021.
Here is how it works:
1) Lake Country families/households or Covid-19 bubble groups are invited to download the online Easter Egg Hunt instructions and clues.
2) Participants can use the clues to explore the community to find the “letters” necessary to complete an Easter word puzzle!
3) Using a smart phone camera or a digital camera, take photos of the "letters" you chose to use from each location to complete the word puzzle. Assemble the photos into a digital collage. (Tip: Wear your bunny ears, costume, carry your favourite stuffy or Easter props - get creative with your family's photo poses around the letters you want to feature to complete the puzzle.)
3) Once the word puzzle is complete, participants can send their completed collage of photos to the Lake Country Recreation Department special easterbunny@lakecountry.bc.ca e-mail inbox, or post to the District Facebook page on the post about the Easter Egg Hunt to be entered in the draw for some great Easter prizes!
4) The deadline to submit the contest entry is 11:59 pm, Monday, April 5. One entry per person.
5) The prize draws will be held Tuesday, April 6, 2021.
Prize draws are for Lake Country youth ages 15 and under, however everyone is welcome to have some safe family fun solving the Easter Egg Hunt word puzzle and compiling a photo collage of the letters used!
