Now is the time to participate and get engaged on the 2023 draft budget and five-year financial plan. Make a difference and get involved:
Tonight, beginning at 5:00 pm Council will be reviewing and discussing the draft budget. Following presentations from staff and questions from Council - public comment will take place. To ensure time for all questions and comments, public comment must be kept to one minute or under. Here are the ways you can participate:
- Watch the live stream beginning at 5:00 pm.
- Attend the meeting in person at Municipal Hall.
- After the meeting you can watch the video recording at anytime.
Council will be hosting a community town hall on Tuesday January 31st beginning at 7:00 pm. Choose one of the following ways to participate:
- Engage remotely by going to the District’s Facebook page and watch the town hall through Facebook Live. If you have a questions or comment type it into the chat and the facilitator will relay the message to Council.
- Watch the live stream from the comfort of home. If you would like to speak directly to Council you can call the phone number on the screen at anytime. Questions and comments will be limited to one minute per caller.
- Attend in person at Municipal Hall. Space is limited and if you would like to speak to Council questions and comments will be limited to one minute per community member.

Community input is strongly encouraged and will be welcome up to second and third reading of the financial plan scheduled for February 23rd.
