Official Community Plan & Zoning Amendment:

Council gave third reading to rectify several outstanding land issues at 16012 Oyama Road. Resolving the issues will allow the property owner to complete a subdivision in accordance with historical ALR exclusion approval and to realign OCP and zoning map boundaries to reflect existing uses and a contemplated boundary adjustment subdivision. 

Development Variance Permit:

Council considered MacDonald Development Corporation development variance permit application for land clearing and preliminary site grading in preparation for a 57‐lot Summit Phase of the Lakestone subdivision. The applicant presented to Council in April followed by a Strategy Session which provided Council with more detailed information on the Lakestone master plan. After a lengthy discussion Council referred the application back to staff to obtain more information from the developer. The applicant presented to Council however there was no public comment.

Development Permit:

Council approved the application for a Development Permit to allow for construction of a house and two accessory buildings at 18263 Crystal Waters Road.

Development Permit:

Council approved the application for a Development Permit which allows for construction of a house at 5550 Finch Road.

Zoning Bylaw Text Amendments:

Council reviewed the proposed zoning bylaw amendments and asked staff to combine these with additional bylaw amendments before forwarding to external agencies and scheduling a public hearing.

Lake Pine Local Service Area and Parcel Tax Bylaw Amendments:

Council approved the Lake Pine Local Service Area Parcel Tax Amendment Bylaw.

Crossing Agreement Covenant:

Council agreed that the owners of 11290 Darlene be permitted to construct a retaining wall in the District Road Dedication. The purpose of the retaining wall is to help support the owners driveway. Prior to construction the owner must register a crossing agreement covenant on title.
