The District of Lake Country is seeking an artist or artist team to create a painted mural on the south facing wall of Winfield Memorial Hall in Lake Country, BC.

This Hall is located on Berry Road in the heart of the community. The south facing wall has high visibility, located just off Highway 97, near the traffic circle on Bottom Wood Lake Road, situated near a Secondary School, a Middle School, and next to Lake Country’s municipal hall. This central location connects to Main Street in the Town Centre, the commercial and civic centre of the municipality of Lake Country.

The concept that is to serve as the focus of the mural image is: “Gratitude for Community, Connection and the Land”. Artists are invited to create an image for this mural that relates to and expresses the concepts suggested by this title.
