Live! in Lake Country is Back with Free Concerts for the Summer!

June 24, 2022 - Lake Country, BC - Live! in Lake Country is back and better than ever with free Friday night concerts in Swalwell Park all summer!

After temporary pandemic restrictions curtailed gatherings in 2020 and 2021, this season promises to be the best yet. Live music with opening and headlining acts will fill Swalwell Park, 10090 Bottom Wood Lake Road, every Friday from 7 to 9 p.m. beginning July 8 and running to August 26.

"I know the community is excited to see Live! in Lake Country back and the performers are just as pleased," said Ryan Donn, Cultural Development Coordinator. "We'll be hosting some fantastic artists from many different genres and I think people are really going to enjoy this year's lineup."

A food truck will be on site as well as a Kids Zone which will host fun activities including face painting and henna. The Lake Country Farmers and Crafters Market, also located at Swalwell Park on Fridays, is extending its hours to 8 p.m. to accommodate concert goers.

Come out early just to enjoy all the beautiful amenities Swalwell Park has to offer. Don't forget to bring lawn chairs or blankets for seating. Consider carpooling, walking or cycling as onsite parking is limited. Parking is available at Swalwell Park for persons with disabilities.
