Creekside Theatre and Train Wreck Comedy invite you to laugh out loud this fall

Anyone in the Okanagan that wants to enjoy an evening of laugh-out-loud live entertainment will want to check out the comedy series offered at the Creekside Theatre in conjunction with Train Wreck Comedy.

First up on October 1st is Tim Nutt a comic who can't be judged by his cover. Long-haired, bearded and "rough around the edges", audiences expect Nutt's material to match, but he surprises with razored-down punch lines and well conjured-up premises that place him as one of the top comics working today. Tim has also performed for our troops on the CBC special Stand Up' in Kandahar.

Then on October 21st, a comedian that is well-known to Lake Country audiences performs at the Creekside. Lorne Elliot has performed his one-man show in many theatres and comedy clubs. He has also written screenplays and TV Comedies, skits and revues. Madly Off In All Directions, was Lorne's own CBC Radio Comedy Series across Canada. It was greeted with such enthusiastic audience response that the Series went on for 11 seasons. His latest project for CBC is titled "Chasing The Big Silly".

November 26th Damonde Tschritter takes the stage. Damonde is a hilarious and unique stand-up comedian, so much so that Canada's National newspaper, The Globe & Mail, hailed him as "Comedy's new Superhero, and perhaps this country's ?nest comedic storyteller." His TV comedy specials have aired on CTV, CBC, HBO, Comedy Network and Comedy Central. Damonde has shared the stage with comedy legends, Robin Williams, Tim Allen and Bob Saget, just to name a few. He has appeared in both ?lm and television, is an accomplished screen writer with two TV shows and one movie currently in development. You can hear him weekly on his breakout hit podcast Funnier Than Gretzky'.

Tickets to all of these comedy shows are conveniently available online through the Creekside Theatre website, or in person at Lake Country Municipal Hall, from Tourism Kelowna and Kelowna Tickets outlet at Orchard Park Mall. $25 incl. taxes and fees.
