The District of Lake Country is exploring methods to improve transit and mobility options in Lake Country with the objective of increasing transit ridership. The project involves outreach to residents, youth, seniors, businesses, to determine how transit services could be best delivered in the future to serve local needs. The project team is inviting transit riders to provide input through a one-hour online facilitated engagement workshop. The virtual workshop will be held on Thursday November 9th from 4:00 pm – 5:00 pm.

If you are interested in participating and providing feedback on how to improve transit in Lake Country, please RSVP by sending an email. Once the email is received a link to the workshop will be sent to you. To thank you for your time – everyone who participates at the November 9th one hour workshop and fills out the short survey (link will be provided on the 9th) will be sent a $10 gift certificate for Lake Country Tim Hortons.

Feedback gathered through the workshop will be summarized to help refine proposed service options. Potential options, along with cost and schedule, will be presented to Council later this year for consideration.
