Lake Country, BC – The Creekside Theatre in Lake Country is pleased to host New Brunswick-based David Myles Trio in Lake Country, one of the first stops on their nation-wide tour, with tickets on sale now.

Myles won a Juno in 2022 for Instrumental Album of the Year for his album “That Tall Distance”.  It was all recorded at a distance in 2020. He is also host of popular podcast called “Myles From Home”. Advance singles from his new record “Only a Little Loneliness” have been featured on several playlists.

Myles and his all-star band of players would like to take you on a journey. With That Tall Distance, Myles shakes off the chains of lyricism in favour of expansive, world-building instrumental arrangements, exploring a universe of shimmering soul, magic jazz, streetwise funk, and earthy blues. Tossed into the fray together, all of the individual timbres, vibes, and moods melt into a cohesive and stunning sonic vision.

Over his career, Myles has proven himself a deft hand and keen student across genres, crafting immaculate pop melodies and timeless rock ‘n’ roll hip-swivelers. That Tall Distance throws the books out the window to pursue experimentation, creative instinct, and intense collaboration, bringing listeners the New Brunswick tunesmith’s most inventive record yet.
