Lake Country, BC – Always a crowd favourite, Cod Gone Wild trio will liven Swalwell Park this Friday at Live! In Lake Country.
This year’s free Friday night concert series is packing the people into the park to dance and sing the night away and the trio from Cod Gone Wild is sure to get everyone on their feet. Cod Gone Wild is an energetic, modern Celtic band based out of the Okanagan Valley. Their unique style, rich harmonies, and upbeat stage presence keeps the party going. Swamp Honey, a cello-backed funk and blues band from the Okanagan, will open the evening. The fun starts at 7 p.m. with the music to keep Swalwell Park hopping until 9 p.m.
Live! in Lake Country performances are presented by TD, TELUS and Okanagan Chrysler Jeep Dodge.
Swalwell Park, located at 10090 Bottom Wood Lake Road, is also host to the Lake Country Farmers and Crafters Market on Fridays, with extended hours to accommodate concert goers.
Happy Pineapple Hawaiian Shaved Ice food truck will be on hand and the Farmer’s Market has a new Gypsy Jewel vendor selling hot dogs. The park also has a Kids Zone which will host fun activities including face painting and henna. Don’t forget to bring, lawn chairs or blankets for seating.
