Back to SearchEastside Utilities (private water utility) in the Carr's Landing area of Lake Country has downgraded the Boil Water Notice issued on June 30, 2023 to a Water Quality Advisory effective immediately (Friday, August 11, 2023).
Eastside Water Utility provides water to 160 customers in the Carr's Landing neighbourhood of Lake Country. This is a private small water system and is NOT related to any District of Lake Country water system such as the nearby Coral Beach or Lake Pine water systems. The District is sharing this Water Quality Advisory information as a public service.
Interior Health recommends that customers, particularly those with weakened immune systems, children, and seniors, boil all water intended for drinking, food preparation, making beverages, producing ice, or brushing teeth for at least one minute. As a safe alternative to boiled water from the tap, customers may choose to use bottled or distilled water.
