Beginning the first week of January - watch your mailbox for 2024 Business Licence Renewals. Invoices are arriving a bit late this year because Lake Country has successfully transitioned business licensing to MyLakeCountry.ca

MyLakeCountry.ca is an online portal that gives you 24 hours a day, 7 days a week secure access to information regarding your District of Lake Country accounts such as Property Tax, Utility Billing and new for 2024 - Business Licenses.  If you haven’t already signed up for MyLakeCountry.ca please do so, it’s easy and fast. To link your business licence account, you will need your new business licence account number and access code – both of which can be found on the invoice you will be receiving in the mail. Consider opting in to go paperless and have invoices sent directly to your email.

NEW - Account Numbers:

All business accounts now have new account numbers. This is important to know if you choose to pay business licence fees through a financial institution – you must edit the payee account number previously used to pay business licence invoices.

NEW - Due Date:

Businesses now have an extra month to pay business licence fees. Payment is now due prior to March 1st. If payment is not received by March 1st a $50 penalty will be applied. Accounts not paid by April 1st will be cancelled.

Once payment is received a 2024 Business Licence will be generated and mailed. You can also download and print your business licence through MyLakeCountry.ca

Business renewals will reflect updated fees adopted by Council on December 19th Fees Amendment (Business Licence) Bylaw 1219, 2023
