Home to a unique and creative collection of public art, murals and sculptures, the Lake Country community is full of talented artists and sculptors who have been sharing their work with the public for the last two decades.
The Public Art Advisory Commission Call for Artists for Indigenous Public Art installation on Pelmewash Parkway resulted in the installation of three sculptures in December 2020.

Beginning with the painted mural "Kokanee" by Don Makela in the year 2000, the public murals and sculptures all tell the story of Lake Country's history and cultural roots.
The unveiling of each mural and sculpture has been recorded on the Lake Country Museum website historical timeline for reference.
