Building Department Changes - District of Lake Country
Please note, we are currently administering a high volume of development and building applications which is impacting our processing times. Thanks for your patience as we address building inspections and development applications in the order they are received. To help us respond as effectively as possible, please ensure any correspondence contains a reference to the relevant development application file number, the civic address, legal description or roll number of the property and any specific questions.
The Planning and Development Department manages Lake Country's planning and building inspection functions.
The Building division makes sure building permits meet the BC Building Code, Zoning Bylaw, Building Regulation Bylaw and other regulations.
