Council conducted a public hearing on proposed OCP amendment. The amendment is required to facilitate a three-lot subdivision at 5812 McCoubrey Rd. There was one local resident who spoke at public comment. Council concluded the public hearing and gave third reading to the amendment at the Regular Council meeting following the Public Hearing. The hearing and third reading were originally conducted on June 15th, however rescinded, due to a communication error.

The Lakes Emergency Evacuation Route
The District of Lake Country has received inquiries about emergency evacuation procedures for The Lakes community. Residents and visitors to The Lakes are advised that the main evacuation route is Lake Hill Drive. A second emergency route out of the community is available if needed.
