Municipal Hall will be CLOSED for the Christmas holiday period Monday, December 26, 2022 through Monday, January 2, 2023.
Essential services such as police, fire, water, wastewater treatment and snow removal will remain in operation.

New Service Request System Launched

The District of Lake Country has launched a new online service request system, part of an organization-wide technological upgrade.
The new system streamlines processes to allow users to quickly and easily submit non-emergency requests for roads and utilities services and bylaw enforcement.
To use this service, you just need to provide the address or location for the requested service, your name and a contact phone number and email so we can follow up if required....

Dog pilot projects return to Lake Country

Dog owners have another seasonal chance to visit two regional parks in the District of Lake Country that normally don’t allow dogs.
Now through the end of March, the Regional District is doing pilot projects in Kopje Regional Park and Kaloya Regional Park.
Until March 31, dogs are allowed off-leash in Kopje, and on-leash on trails within Kaloya. Dogs are not allowed on the beach or playground areas of either park. The projects provide more dog-friendly access options during the...
