Council adopted the following bylaws Highways Bylaw 1189, 2022; Building Regulation Amendment Bylaw 1190, 2022; Nuisance Amendment Bylaw 1191, 2022; BNE and MTI Amendment (Highways) Bylaw 1192, 2022; Subdivision Amendment (Highways) Bylaw 1193, 2022.

In partnership with the City of Kelowna, the District of Lake Country will be resurfacing a portion of Beaver Lake Road on October 14 to 16. Steps have been taken to shorten the construction timeline, but a road closure will result in limited vehicle access within the construction zone during this 48-hour period.

September 26, 2022 - The start of open burning in the Central Okanagan is being delayed.
Local fire chiefs have agreed to hold off issuing any outdoor burning permits due to the ongoing high fire danger rating. They will continue to monitor conditions and determine a start date.
