Lake Country Pop-up Recycling Depots

The Regional District Waste Reduction Office is hosting a series of new recycling events that will allow residents in the Central Okanagan to drop off depot only recyclables such as Styrofoam, glass and soft plastics in their own communities.

LCFD Legacy Leadership Grant Program announced for Lake Country Firefighters

Lake Country, BC – The Lake Country Fire Department announced a new LCFD Legacy Leadership grant program to its members on Saturday. The grant program is a unique new support for career advancement in fire service leadership specifically for active LCFD members.

Regular Council Meeting Highlights - May 17, 2022

Patrick Vance, Chair of the Okanagan IG Wealth Management Walk for Alzheimer’s gave Council an update on the planned event taking place on May 29th in Vernon. Mr. Vance asked that Council support the walk by either attending or pledging their support on-line.
Council approved a temporary use permit for an autobody repair and paint shop located at 15151 Oyama Road. The permit allows the business to operate at that location until February 5, 2025.
