The District of Lake Country will make sand and sandbags available for residents who live near Okanagan Lake who wish to protect their properties from potential flooding.
Snowpack levels, temperatures and rainfall are variable factors that combine to elevate the risk of flooding of local waterways. The Regional Emergency Program activated an Emergency Operations Centre today to address areas of localized flooding.

After a two-year hiatus, the Rotary Club of Lake Country is excited to invite residents and visitors to come to Swalwell Park on July 1st to celebrate Canada Day in Lake Country.
