Give your Christmas Tree a new life after the holidays

You are welcome to drop off your bare Christmas tree in the parking lot at Jack Seaton Park (1950 Camp Rd) for recycling so it can be chipped and used in trails and landscaping.  Please remember to remove all decorations and tinsel.  

The park gate is open between 6am and 11pm for you to drop off your tree until January 31.

2017 Swingin' Christmas concert marks the end of an era of Atherton family particiation in the annual tradition of Lake Country Big Band

The Lake Country Big Band was formed in 2000 under the leadership of Eddie Atherton. The band is a full traditional big band, including saxophones, trumpets, trombones, guitar, piano, bass, and drums. Two vocalists also perform with the band. Don MacKay took over directing the group in 2015. Most of the members live in Lake Country and surrounding communities. They're dedicated musicians who love practicing and performing with the band.
