| Lake Country |
| 3/12/2010 |
The District of Lake Country is seeking public input on the District’s watershed and water supply with a Public Open House on March 25, 2010 from 4:00 p.m. and 8:30 p.m. at the Municipal Hall.
With partial funding through the Okanagan Basin Water Board Water Conservation and Quality Improvement Grant, the District of Lake Country has retained the services of qualified consultants to prepare the plans. These plans are a condition on the District’s Permit to Operate issued by Interior Health Authority under the Drinking Water Protection Act.
The last step before the final reports are completed is a Public Open House to enlist comments from the community for consideration of inclusion into the final reports.
The Open House will include 30-minute presentations of the final draft reports: 4:00 p.m. and 6:30 p.m. Oyama and Vernon Creek Watershed Assessment and Protection Plans 5:00 p.m. and 7:30 p.m. Source to Tap Assessment and Protection Plan for Kalamalka Lake Intake and Okanagan Lake Intake
