Council considered three readings of a bylaw to amend the 2009 Financial Plan at its Tuesday, November 17, 2009 Regular Council Meeting. The District is seeking public comment on the proposed amendments prior to adoption, which is tentatively scheduled for the Council meeting on Tuesday, December 1, 2009.
The Financial Plan is before Council for amendment for the following reasons:
• To formalize, in bylaw form, changes to the Financial Plan already approved by Council resolution during 2009;
• To increase the year-end transfer to the Transit and Road Reserves;
• To add three new projects and eliminate one project from the capital budget; and
• To increase the budget of two projects.

Comments can be provided to the undersigned in writing, or by email to treasurer@lakecountry.bc.ca, or provided directly to Council at the December 1, 2009 meeting at 7:00 p.m. at the Municipal Hall.
