Online Services The District offers the following Online Services for your convenience. Tax Certificates through BC Online District of Lake Country Tax Certificates used for conveyancing purposes are now hosted through BC OnLine. To access, simply login to their website and select Tax Certificates Online from the main menu where you can access Tax Certificates from the District of Lake Country plus many other participating municipalities. For information about BC Online, or to become a BC OnLine customer, see their web site or call (250) 953-8250 or toll-free within B.C. at 1-800-663-6102. BizPaL To aid in the process of issuing business licenses, Lake Country is now using BizPal, an online interactive service which determines the scope of your current or proposed business by asking you a short series of questions, and providing a customized list of potential permits and licences required from all levels of government that you may require to operate your business. Leisure Services Registration You can now register online for courses in the District's Leisure Services Guide. GIS Mapping The Geographic Information System (GIS) is an all-encompassing computer database and mapping system that contains information about all types of properties in the District. Click here for more information and instructions on how to use the GIS system. Online Home Owner Grants Home owner grants help reduce the amount of residential property tax British Columbians pay. Application Forms are located on the bottom portion of your tax notice or you can claim your grant online from mid May until December 31st. Click here for more information on Home Owner Grants.
